What the app stores
Tournaments, player names and scores you enter are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted anywhere by default, and the app works fully offline.
The live scoreboard
If you tap Go Live, the app uploads that tournament — its name, the player names you entered and the scores — to Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) public database, so that spectators with a join code can view a read-only scoreboard.
Use first names or nicknames if you would rather not share full names. Ending the live session marks the scoreboard as finished, and deleting the tournament from the app removes its records from the database.
The court display
The court display turns a spare tablet or laptop into a courtside scoreboard. While it is running, your device serves a plain web page — the tournament name, player names and scores — to any device on the same Wi-Fi network that opens the address shown in the app.
Nothing is sent over the internet, no server outside your network is involved, and the page stops being served as soon as you turn the display off or close the app.
What the app does not collect
- No accounts, email addresses or contact information
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers, and no tracking across apps or websites
- No analytics, and no profile of you is built by the app
Your data is never sold, and the app passes nothing to any third party. The only data that leaves your device is the tournament you choose to publish with Go Live.
Data linked to you
Live scoreboard records are not linked to your identity. The app does not store your Apple ID, your name, or any other identifier alongside them.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information, and there is no advertising, no messaging and no external content in it.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how data is handled, this page and the App Store privacy label will both be updated before that version is released.
